Digital Assemblage

This work comes from digital photographs, scanned objects and images that have been digitally enhanced to distort the ‘recognizable’ and extract largely gestural forms. Working digitally provides a level of immediacy that enables me to rapidly filter large amounts of scavenged imagery through my process and myself. My alternative printing techniques allow me to translate this imagery into unique, tangible works without losing the touch and subtle nuance of the artist's hand. These works were made using the same proprietary printing process as the Urban Studies series.
